THE BEST VEGAN BREAKFAST SANDWICH || Made from Scratch || Grab & Go (no animal and no soy protein).The “egg and sausage” portion I made from scratch, I used a no soy vegan cheese. The Pillsbury biscuit may have soy (I don’t remember) BUT no milk or butter. You can always make vegan biscuits from scratch too, but I was trying to save some time:)
Grab & Go:
1. building your sandwich
2. place in foil, ziplock, any container
3. freeze to keep
4. when ready…before going to bed, take sandwich out of freezer, put in fridge so it can thaw overnight
5. In the morning, you can heat sandwich up in the microwave or toaster over (preferred method) ENJOY

****First thing first, make your ground seitan, you’ll need that for the sausage recipe***

Breakfast Sausage @ 0:41
1 lb ground seitan (recipe link in video) @ 0:41
1 tsp dried sage
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp marjoram (similar to oregano)
1 TB brown sugar
1/8 tsp red pepper flakes
pinch of ground clove
3 TB apple sauce
1-2 TB maple syrup
4 TB arrow root (or corn starch)

CHICKPEA SCRAMBLE (recipe is for 2 servings) @ 3:02
1/2 c chickpea flour
1 1/2 c water
1/4 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1 slice onion
3 TB vegetable broth
1/2 tsp Kala Namak Black Salt (this salt has a egg smell and taste/grab on Amazon)

oil for frying
vegan cheese (Daiya or Violife are great brands)
vegan biscuit brand (Pillsbury Sweet Hawaiian Grands! Flaky Layers ARE vegan, it’s the only that does not have milk or butter… trust me, I checked 🙂
