Sweet + Spicy Sriracha Tofu (Vegan)

Serves 4.

1 block extra firm tofu, drained
1-3 TBSP Sriracha
1 cup water
1 TBSP maple syrup
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup liquid aminos (or Tamari, soy sauce)
1/3 cup cornstarch (or tapioca starch)
2 TBSP oil

1. Slice tofu into 1 inch cubes
2. In a bowl, toss tofu with cornstarch
3. Heat 2 TBSP oil in pan
4. Fry tofu on each side until browned (~4 min)
5. Add garlic, water, liquid aminos, Sriracha, and maple syrup in sauce pan. Bring to a boil.
6. Pour sauce onto tofu and cook
