I made this Biryani and it was delicious. I added beans to the vegetable mix. There was no taste of coconut in the end product. Anyone feeling skeptical about it, don't think too much. Just try it.

I realize this is a really old video but I feel it necessary to thank the two of you. My wife has moved to a vegan lifestyle as of Oct. 2019. I have been struggling to make a variety of meals for her since then. I came across your channel about 2 weeks ago and it/you are a God send. I do have a difficult time sourcing some ingredients as we live in the middle of Texas near a military base – young men wanting meat at every meal. Anyway, Thank you so much- if you see this. I just found your channel as I've been exploring more vegan meals. I love your videos! I also don't really cook with onions or garlic. I just wondered, how do you decide when you do and don't cook with onions? As I've noticed, in some videos you use onions and in some you don't.
