This is my favorite Smoothie With Power Greens Recipe! It tastes really clean and fresh and it’s a great way to get healthy energy in the morning to start off your day. All around it’s a really versatile smoothie. I used to drink this smoothie or smoothies like it nearly every day for breakfast and it helped with a number of things for me such as depression and weight loss. You can boost it with antioxidants such as amla powder and matcha powder although it’s already packed with them. If you feel like you need protein more you can replace those powders with a Vegan Protein powder instead.
Here’s the vegan recipe!
1 C. Frozen Pineapple
1 1/2 Frozen Bananans
1 tsp. Matcha Powder (Optional)
1 tsp. Amla Powder (Optional)
1 Serving Berry Flavored Vegan Protein Powder (Optional)
1 Handful of Kale (or a loosely packed cup)
1 C. Apple Juice
1/2 C. Coconut Yogurt (Unsweetened)
1 Handful of Spinach (or a loosely packed cup)
1 tsp Agave (Optional)
Add all ingredients in a blender in order as follows: Apple Juice, Coconut Yogurt, Powders (Matcha, Amla, or Vegan Protein), Agave, Spinach, Kale, Bananas, and Pineapple. Blend until smooth and Enjoy!
Note: Whenever making a smoothie it’s best to add the most liquid ingredients first because it makes blending much easier.
