How to Make the Perfect Okonomiyaki ๐Ÿณ Easy & Delicious (Vegan and Gluten-free options)

Hey guys! This is Sarah, a Japanese “salary woman” living and working Tokyo.

Here’s an easy recipe of Okonomiyaki so you can make it in your country ๐Ÿ’–

โ– Vegan
You can just leave out the egg. Back when eggs were expensive, a lot of houses made okonomiyaki without eggs!
Swap out dashi with coconut aminos and veg broth.

โ– Gluten free
Swap out the all purpose flour with other flours (rice flour, oat flour, etc. )

โ– Ingredients:
ใ€€โ— 100g all purpose flour
ใ€€โ— 1 egg
ใ€€โ— 100ml water
ใ€€โ— 1 tbsp dashi (Japanese broth)
ใ€€โ— Toppings of choice (I used 1/8 chopped cabbage and 8 pork slices)
