1 small onion diced
1-2 cloves garlic minced
2 cups vegetable stock
4 cups broccoli florets
1 1/2 cups shredded carrot about 2 medium
1 cup raw cashews soaked for 4 hours if you don’t have a high-speed blender
1 cup water
1/2 teaspoon mustard powder
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 cup nutritional yeast
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice about half a lemon
1/4 cup almond milk
dash cayenne pepper dash
sea salt to taste
freshly cracked pepper
Fresh parsley to serve, optional
