In this video we will see how to make cassata ice cream recipe at home. This casatta ice cream has rusk base and three layers of ice cream and topped off with roasted nuts. I have chosen mango flavor, pistachio flavor and strawberry flavor for the ice creams for this recipe but you can use other flavors as well. I have used some crushed mango, strawberry and pistachio to add extra flavor and texture to the recipe. Because of the variety of flavors in this ice cream this is a perfect recipe for parties and celebrations.

CASSATA ICE CREAM
Ingredients -
For Icecream base-
1 L full cream milk
1/2 cup milk powder
3 tbsp cornflour
3/4 cup sugar (150 gm)

For first layer
6-7 Rusk / cake slices
1/3 cup hot milk
2 tsp milk powder
2 tsp powder sugar

For second layer
Icecream base
1 cup chopped mango
2 tbsp powder sugar
1 drop yellow gel food color (optional)

For third layer
Icecream base
2 tbsp pistachio
2 drops green food Colour

For Fourth layer
Ice cream base
2 tbsp strawberry jam /syrup /crush /fresh strawberry +2 tbsp sugar
2 drops pink gel food color
