This Vegan Tofu Sandwich is a favorite of mine.I am always in search of easy tofu sandwich recipes and this one is truly a great find. When I want to have something savory in start of my day tofu breakfast sandwich is always a prefrence.In this recipe BBQ sauce tofu is cooked up fluffy and caramelized from edges to give a yummy experience. VEGAN TOFU SANDWICH
Calories:302 Carb:43.9g Protein:15.46g Fat:8.30g
Whole What Bread(Toasted): 2 slices
Tofu: 4-5 Thick Slices
Olive Oil: 1/2 Tsp
BBQ Sauce: 2Tbs
Salt: To Taste
Chili Flakes: 1/2 Tsp
Kale: 2-3 :Leaves
Cucumber : 3-5 Slices
Bell pepper : 5-7 Slices
Toast Bread Slices.
Pat dry tofu with paper towel and cut 4 to 5 thick slices.
Heat oil in a pan and cook tofu on medium heat.Flip tofu sides and cook until turned golden brown.
Now add 1 Tbs BBQ sauce salt and chili flakes. cook for another two minutes.Remove from heat.
For sandwich assembling, spread BBQ sauce on toast slices and spread kale leaves, cooked tofu,
cucumber, and bell pepper slices.
Close and slice sandwich. Serve warm and fresh or wrap carefully and take to work or school in a
