Fast, easy, oil free, vegan nacho cheese recipe! This version of plant based quest dip is creamy and cheesy while still being good for you! it’s made with whole, simple ingredients that you can feel good about treating yourself to! Full recipe below. Enjoy 🙂
Vegan Nacho Cheese Recipe
1.5 cups frozen butternut squash
2 tbsp cashew butter
1/3 cup nutritional yeast
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp salt
5 dashes cayenne pepper
2 tsp jalapeño juice, from a jar of pickled jalapeños
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1/2 tbsp corn starch
1.5 tbsp water
Add all ingredients to a blender, except the corn starch and water. Mix those separately in a bowl to dissolve then add to the blender.
Blend until very smooth and creamy.
Transfer to a sauce pan and cook for 5-7 minutes on medium heat until bubbly and thickened.
Serve warm with chips, potato wedges, or veggies.
