Is it just me? Every time I get walnuts they taste sort of rancid. Is this normal or I am just buying old walnuts? I worry my "meat" will have a rancid taste.

Cooking with Plants. I have not tried the recipe yet, but it looks great. We could use that for vegan tacos, burritos, chili, and pasta. So glad I found your channel. The big challenge for me is how to sneak vegetables into the kids' meals. Hopefully, I can season it well enough so they won't know the difference.
