The Kitchen Evolution is a culmination of 3 of my absolute favourite things; Vegan Food, Humour, and Personal Growth/Development/Mastery. Each episode will be unique in the recipe AND the content I decide to talk about. An evolution of how you cook, and an evolution of ones self. (wowwwww)

I have been an entrepreneur for several years now, with a significant proportion of that as a mindset coach and mentor. It is an absolute calling of mine to help impact others through giving both the theory and the practicality of achieving success, happiness, and fulfillment within life.

Today we’re preparing some EPIC, fluffy, and sweet Cinnamon Rolls. These are so easy to make, and a real crowd-pleaser. I hope you love these as much as I do!

For this recipe (makes 12 Cinnamon Rolls) you will need:

For the Pastry Dough:

– 3 cups Plain White Flour
– 1 Tbsp (or 8g packet) Yeast
– 2 Tbsp Sugar
– 1 tsp Salt
– 3 Tbsp Vegan Butter / Margarine
– 1 cup Soy Milk

Mix dry and wet (soy milk and melted butter) together and knead to make a soft, pliable, slightly sweet pastry dough.
Leave to rise in a slightly oiled and covered bowl for 1 hour.
Roll out to a large rectangle, about 1/2 an inch thick.

For the insides:

– 1/4 Cup Vegan Butter / Margarine – Melted
– 3/4 cup packed Brown Sugar
– 1 Tbsp Cinnamon

Melt butter and spread on top of rolled out pastry dough. Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon on top.
Roll tightly into a long log (AKA Pastry Schlong)
Remove the outer ends, and cut into 12 even segments lengthways.
Tray up 3×4 (in a large, lightly greased, rectangle baking dish) and bake for 20-25 minutes at 180°C (350°F).

For the Icing:

– 1 cup Icing Sugar
– 1 1/2 Tbsp Soy Milk

Literally whisk them together and use a kitchen spoon to drizzle over the top of the baked and luke-warm cinnamon rolls.
