ONE PAN VEGAN COCONUT CURRY LENTIL DAHL | HIGH PROTEIN, OIL-FREE, EASY AND HEALTHY RECIPE

In today’s video I’m sharing this Coconut Curry Lentil Dahl recipe.

Dal/Dahl is also the name for the thick purée, stew or soup made from legumes.

Lentil is an edible seed that grows in a pod and is hulled and split. There are many types of lentils. The two I have in the pantry are the green and red lentils. There’s also Yellow, brown, black, french green and a lot more. This brown lentil has 17.9 grams of protein per 1 cup cooked.

Lentil Dahl is a nutritious, humble meal served with rice, or naan bread. You can whirl a dal in a blender for a velvet-smooth texture. You could serve it as is with a texture of a think vegetable puree or thin it with a little water and serve it as a soup.
