Hi Claire, I'm doing exactly what you are doing. πŸ™‚ I fleed my homeland of Texas for Ohio all on my own, no family/ friends at 26. I did it for a job opportunity but I always wanted to experience another state and have an adventure. The actual transition wasn't as hard as I thought. There are times when it's tough because I miss my parents/family like crazy. Being homesick comes and goes. However, I am doing great out here, I've surprised myself. I love Columbus, I've been out here for 2 years now. When times are tough, I have thought about going home too but I try my best to just pull through. And, even if we do go home, at least we can say we DID it and had an experience! Not many people can do what we are doing. πŸ™‚ I'm ready to try another state now, so I actually have been looking at California. πŸ™‚ Anyways, I say this with experience- you are a strong girl! πŸ™‚ Be proud of it!
