Ethiopian cabbage and potatoes. A mild vegan dish that is very easy to make. This video is spoken in Amharic but is very easy to follow and has English text pointers should you need them. Potatoes, white cabbage, onions, garlic, turmeric, salt and chilli, olive oil and water.
Add the olive to a pan with the onions and cook for 3 mins – Add the garlic and cook for 3 mins with the lid on – Add the turmeric and cook for 3 mins – Add the cabbage and cook for 4 mins with the lid on – Add the potatoes and cook for 3 mins – Add a little water and cook for 4 mins – Add salt to taste cook for 3 mins ir until potatoes are tender – Add fresh chilli and serve.
